Capixingui Honey

Floral description:

The Capixingui  (Croton floribundus) blooms from October to December and its fruits appeal to birds, its flowers attract bees.  It reaches 6 to 10 meters high.  As a pioneer tree species, it is tolerant of open areas and grows fast.  It is useful for reforestation plantations of degraded areas of permanent preservation

Honey Description:

Capixingui honey is a white honey with approximately 25mm on the Goethe scale. Honey has a mild sweetness and has some flowery flavors. It crystallizes easily.
